Arlo Wolf is proud to be a corporate sponsor of the international eye charity, Sight2Save.
Our “You Buy, We Donate” initiative sends a pair of prescription glasses to someone in need, with every pair of frames bought by our customers.
What is Sight2Save?
Sight2Save is a non-profit organisation with a mission to eliminate preventable blindness worldwide, through providing access to high-quality treatment, first-class health training and education to those who need their help the most.
Since its launch in 2015, the eye charity has been focusing on treating conditions such as refractive error in isolated regions within developing countries. The incredible work being carried out has seen major improvements to eye health in countries such as Morocco, India, Nepal and Kenya, with Tanzania, Micronesia and Fiji being the next areas of focus.
The UK-based eye charity is run by a community of volunteers who do not receive a salary for their contributions to the cause. What’s more, the charity does not currently accept financial donations from the public – used glasses or sunglasses are accepted, as are new frames from corporate sponsors such as ourselves.
It’s very easy to take our eye health for granted here in the UK, due to the fact that we have good access to high-quality professionals who specialise in maintaining and restoring vision. Unfortunately, that isn’t the case for many developing countries around the world. In fact, there are over 600 million people in the world who do not have access to quality eye care.
Millions of children are at risk of limited education due to poor eyesight and eye health, just as millions of adults are missing out on job opportunities because of poor vision.
It’s because of these staggering statistics that we thoroughly support the charity’s mission to help the millions of people in the world who live with a vision impairment.
Contribute to our You Buy, We Donate initiative today. Whether you choose to buy a pair of men’s prescription frames, women’s prescription frames or sunglasses, we will donate one pair of glasses to Sight2Save.
